By now, we all know that seatbelts save lives. To increase the use of wearing them,
some states have passed laws that require seatbelts be worn at all times while driving
a vehicle. Car manufactures have made wearing seatbelts more comfortable and convenient,
too. Hence, the introduction of the automatic shoulder strap. These automatic straps are
good protection but they are not good enough. For maximum protection, you must wear
your lap belt as well. Without the lap belt, you run the risk of death of serious injury by sliding under the shoulder strap. If the shoulder strap is attached to the car door and the door opens, you or your passenger could be thrown from the car. So stay in your seat. Buckle your lap belt.
